Minecraft Blog for beginners!

 

Hello viewers and welcome to my Minecraft blog. You may recognise me from my Five Nights at Freddy's blogs, but as FNAF3 hasn't come out yet so I'm going to be taking a break from all of the horrors from Five Nights at Freddy's and I am going to be covering, MINECRAFT!! Another popular game created by a man called Notch but is now owned by Bill Gates from Microsoft, anyhow lets start. Minecraft is a game of imagination as there are no limits to what you can do. In Minecraft as it says in the name you can either go mining under ground or crafting (building) up above I will now explain how you get started in Minecraft.

 

 

Getting Started

 

When you first spawn into the world you might be thinking "what the heck do I do now?"Well that is what I am about to tell you. First what you do is you walk up to a tree and you press & hold left mouse button to punch it (I know it sounds crazy but just do it) and with the wood that you got if you press E, it will open your inventory and at the top you will notice a little 2 by 2 crafting area, and what you will want to do with that is you want to click on your wood and drag it into the crafting area and place it there and next to it will show 4 wooden planks. Press on those and in the crafting area fill all 4 of the squares with the wooden planks and next to it, it should show a crafting table

Getting more advanced

 

After you make a crafting table you can make EVERYTHING in the game but you need to start off simple. So open your crafting table and you will see a 3 by 3; what you will want to do is get some more wooden planks and place one of them in any place of the crafting table and place one more above or below the first one. The result will be 4 sticks, now with those 4 sticks you will want to place one on top of another (in the middle) and then place 3 wooden planks in the top 3 spaces

Getting an upgrade

 



Now what you are going to want to do is build a simple house, this you can do with any material and in any shape. Now you are ready to go mining your first objective is to find coal so that you can build torches which give you light, in the mean time while you are looking for coal you will be mining stone which you can build a furnace out of. To build a furnace you must fill the whole crafting table with stone and then take the middle block out and take the furnace out and when you find some coal you can put it in there to cook things like meat and ores. Now that you have got your house and furnace built you can start upgrading your tools (axes, hoes, pickaxes, shovels and swords) for now we are going to be focusing on pickaxes. First of all you right click on your crafting table and do the same recipe for a wooden pickaxe but instead of wood you put stone in the top 3 squares.

Farming

 

To farm in Minecraft you firstly need to build a Hoe which you build by  putting the two sticks in the middle and in the bottom middle and then you put 2 of the mineral of your choice in the tom middle and to the top left or right. Then you find a good place of grass and you fertilise it by right clicking on it, to get crops you must break the tall bits of grass on the ground and occasionally you will find seeds. When you find seeds you must place them on the fertilised ground and wait. To make your crops grow faster you have to craft a bucket, collect some water, dig a 1 block deep hole in the ground and place some water there.

 Other tools

 

I am now going to tell you how to make the other 3 tools that I didn't explain. Firstly a sword, so open your crafting table and then put two pieces of stone or whatever mineral on top of each other and then a stick at the bottom. Now a shovel so open your crafting table and put 2 sticks (one at the bottom and one in the middle) then choose a mineral to put in the top middle. And last but not least an axe so to craft this put 2 sticks on top of each other and put 3 minerals surrounding it.
